FIRE!

22 January 2007: Around 5am, Wai Wen sent me messages asked me to come out to play basketball (which later that night Sam said he wants me to come out). What on earth she asked me to play basketball such early morning. Then I silent my phone and I replied her, “Miss, the whole house listened my phone’s message tune. People of course want to sleep. If I got go to school also won’t wake up such early”. I also doubt if they didn’t need to go to school. Then I continued sleeping.

In the morning about 9am (which my brother woke up on that time) told my brother that some places on fire. But I don’t know what they talking about and continue sleeping until I woke up around 11am. I had my lunch and helped my mom to buy instant noodles. Later I realised that Karaoke and Mahjong Centre were burned and same to Ken’s mother along with Kamala. Huakson suffered a little damaged (only its nameplates). TNB also present with Bomba. I then took a picture of it (as shown above). Back at home, my mom only asked me, “did you saw the place that been burned?”. She also said that the fire took place around 3am.

When I had lunch with David, James Fuck, Alex and Cheong, we then started to chat about the fire.

At night, I went to Sam’s house. They didn’t go to school and they also started to talk about the fire too. Accordingly, Sam didn’t want to wake up during the fire because he has been fooled by his sister to make him going to school. The most serious was they didn’t take any important things such as Identity Card, Birth Certificate and self identity items. The most funny was all member of Sam’s family didn’t wear shoes except for Sam that still managed to find shoes to wear. After the fire, they couldn’t sleep so they asked me to come out to play basketball early morning.

My mom also said that Seng Chai waiting Huakson to be burned because when then many people will rush in and took valuable things such as abalone, bird nest, sea cucumber and expensive herbals. But in my thinking, I would take all reload cards and prepaid cards so I can reload for myself at the same time I can sell the others.
