CNY Eve; 5:00pm; Samuel’s house – Just as I walked on the road in front of Kuala Ampang wet market, Samuel’s sister saw me and tell her brother which later I saw her mom opened the gate and went to the shop downstairs. Then I asked him to come down and talk. (Early at the afternoon, we planned to go Kosas but heavy rain falls and it was unusual thing and for the first time over so many years that every CNY eve were hot until my skin if been cut out can dried in just few hours). Then his mother saw us talking and invited me along with his family for reunion dinner. I was shy to go because that supposed to be Sam’s family reunion dinner. Under some pressures, I went and even his father asked me to come along and eat.
While still feeling shy, I then walked with Sam to the kitchen as he washed his hand. His elder sister also called me to sit down and have some food. I sat beside his father and having my food in a shy situations. His parents then asked me to self-service and later his parents each gave me a chicken and a prawn. His father then poured soup into rice bowl which I’m using. After finished all, his mom asked his elder sister to give me the fish.
As we all finished eating, Wai Wen suggested playing ‘Cho Dai Di’ along with herself, Sam, me, his father and his elder brother (which I didn’t know at that time). After that, we played 21 and later 10 (or Taiwan card). Until the time of 6:30pm, it’s time to go home for dinner. Then Sam confirmed that he want to go Kosas with me later that night.
